I would like to welcome one and all to this little corner of Tom's Forum.
Over the upcoming weeks I hope to be able to provide some incites into things I have learned in over a half century of involvement with trains, be they full size or miniature, material or digital. It is hoped that the information I can provide, some my own, some gleaned from many different sources, will help one and all to develop much better, more prototypical routes. that are a pleasure to run and operate.
Besides information to be considered when developing a route, there will also over time be information provided, both in written form and by way of illustrations, of different operational procedures to be taken in consideration when writing or working on a prototypically correct activity.
The first topic we will address will be that of Yard Design.
