And if anybody has an idea for a "donation system" to keep the forums open that would be great and highly appreciated! :)

Well, whatever happens, I wish you best of luck Tom; with both your health and your money situtation.

These forums have always been a great pleasure to look at (I know... I don't post much :P), and it's sad to hear that they may soon disappear. But with this talk of donations and such, it's looking like theres some hope?

Well, I can't donate at the moment; I'm only 15 and I'm trying to save some money up now for some things that I'll need when I get my car and such.  Maybe if this donation things go through I can donate a bit.. but. Hope this works out, and again. Best of luck to you, Tom; thanks for the great forums.:thumbsup:

Oh dear. I feared this might happen. Nevertheless, I do wish you the best of luck Tom and I will be sad to see this forum go. It really is my favorite place to discuss MSTS.

Perhaps if the donation system works, I can donate a little. It won't be much (for the same reasons as Stephen), but regardless, I would support keeping this forum open.

Best of luck to you in the future Tom! :)

Your health and the forum are very important. The forum's does need a "donation system" so we can keep the BP forums up and running.

To you, I hope your health gets better in te comming days!

Get Well,

Max

Thank you all for the kind words.

As soon as I get a reply from the forum hoster company I'll let you know what's next.

I'd gladly donate some money towards the forum. I'm in a pretty good spot money wise right now, so it wouldn't be a problem. ;)

Dear Tom,

We recently tried to rebill your recurring order 2565785627 for WowBB. However, your bank declined the transaction for the following reason:

 530 : Do Not Honor

To have these charges post to a different card (or update your expiration date, etc.), please enter your new billing information using the link below. You will be prompted to enter the first 6 and last 2 digits of the previous credit card.
https://www2.2checkout.com/2co/admin/change_billing_method/?sale=2565785627

Thank you,
2Checkout.com

If anyone is willing to help please click on the link above. I think you can enter just one credit card there. So a donation fund is not possible.

First 6 digits:  540448
2 last digits: 87

My card is not valid anymore, this is why I post it here. Further it's not the entire number.

Hi Tom, I'm willing to give it a try with my card. But I need to know if you are billed on a month to month basis. I don't want to end up being billed indefinatley.

Hi Jim,

Yes, you will be billed monthly. Apparently, I can pay the dues again from March when things changed.

Thanks Jim for everything!

I don't know if it's for February or March. Probably this was for February. Each month I receive a confirmation e-mail but it doesn't say which month it is for. Normally the charge is around the 10th of each month.

I'll let you know as soon as we can change the payment procedure again.

Hi Tom, your welcome, my pleasure. I got a receipt for payment but it didn't say for what time period. One way or another we'll keep the site going. Get well soon.

Tom,

In May when Jim and I get together for a Cajon Pass trip while I am on my Los Angeles vacation. I will probably toss him $10 cash for the forum funds. This way I can pay for atleast one month and Eileen wont see any funny business on the debit card.

Thanks a bunch Randy! By all means, I appreciate a lot what you guys are doing here. Would be a shame to see this forum go. I'm sorry for any inconvenience. :?

Youre more than welcome Tom. I agree that it would be a shame to loose this forum. I know it is hard and tough economy during these times and it's hitting everyone. Eileen and I are struggling a little bit ourselves during these times, But if nothing comes up within the next 6 months or so. Eileen and I will be in alot better shape then we were the last 8 months or so. There was a couple times during those last 8 months that we didnt know if we were going to make it or not (From the wedding to everything else that we had going on at the time), But Eileen and I made. Eileen and I just had to get through the rough months until our tax return came back which was last weekend. We are still not in great shape, But we are in alot better shape then we were just a month ago. There is no need to apoligize either Tom.

Yeah, I'm glad I had the idea of someone to pay for the site, and If we need someone to pay for a few months later down the line, I'll be here ready to pay (I set aside a few bucks for this case).
