Yes, it's really a rough time. But actually, I'm waiting for a considerable sum these days. The money should be here in the next 3-6 weeks. So I'm sure we already passed the critical peak to keep this forum alive.

Don't worry Tom, we will find a way to keep the forum going. I know the economt is hard on everyone. I lost 50% of my retirement money over the last year, so another few bucks won't matter. Just let me know when you need help. Get well, and get back to work on the Potash. I'm old and falling apart rapidly, I'd like to see it before I go..

| The state of California is not in the best of shape right now, So I dont blame you Jim for feeling like that. I wouldnt want to live in California right now with the way that state is being destroyed by a number of things.

They are destroying alot of things here but they can't destroy the weather. I'm to old to shovel snow, so I guess I'll stay here, were you can go railfanning almost any day.

I agree that every state is not in good shape at the moment. I think California is one of those those states that is getting hit hard from everything like the woman with all the babies and everything else. That state has some big issues compared to other states. Of course, I dont want to get into any politics on this forum, So I wont continue. There are 3 things that I miss in Southern California. The weather, In-n-out, and being able to railfan anytime I want to. Come May 7th through 22nd, I hope I get all those things and enjoy them. Eileen and I were very lucky with the weather last April as all week. We didnt see one drop of rain when we were in Cali. I am hoping to see the same thing this year.

Those three things are a good reason to live here. I'd rather live in Arizona if I had a chose. But I'm caring for 88 year old Parents, so leaving isn't an option. Economicaly it wouldn't do me any good to move, whats the difference if I'm broke here of somewhere else....LOL Hope the weather is good when you get here, you never know.

Almost in the same boat here. Eileen and I have discussed moving to California, But due to her parents being out here in Massachusetts. We came to the conclusion that we will not think of moving to Southern California until her parents pass away which could be years for all I know. The area we looked at was the Ontario/ Fontana area. That means that I would only be minutes away from Cajon Pass and Beaumont Pass. Last edited on Wed Feb 25th, 2009 06:13 pm by Eaglefan9727
