Hi,
I'm new to this forum, but not to MSTS. I am having a problem, though, with the Rattlesnake route. I downloaded the route and placed the route folder in MSTS route folder. I also placed all the engines in the Trainsets folder. But, when I try to run the route in MSTS, it will not allow it because there are no activities associated with this route. I know some of you have gotten the route running (saw the video on You Tube) and maybe you could share your secrets on how it was done. Thanks for any help. Richie M.

First of all... Welcome Ritchie!
You must have at least a path to be able to run this route in explore mode. So a 1 minute AE session is required to run version 1.0. Think that should be no problem when you're familiar with MSTS...
Or you can install the attached path for a first introduction run.

tgalbardi,
Thanks a lot for the quick responce. I downloaded and installed the path but I believe I still must make a consist to run the route. I'll try that after dinner and hope to be running the rattlesnake by tonight! Thanks again!

| Added the path to the Routes/Rattlesnake/Path folder and made a consist, but when I tried to load the route, got error messages such as "Failed to save Service", "Failed to save Activity File", Failed to save Explorer.act" ...etc. Found that you must manually open the Route/ Rattlesnake folder and create 2 new folders named ACTIVITIES and SERVICES. After that, the route loaded without a problem. Congratulations on a fine route building job! Richie M.
